Jonathan Chou – Global Finance Executive, Board Leader, and Advisor
A finance professional with more than three decades of experience in global finance, governance, and capital markets, Jonathan Chou serves as chairman of the board of EMIA.org (Emerging Markets Investors Alliance) and as an independent non-executive director and audit committee chair for two publicly listed companies. Jonathan Chou most recently served as the CFO of UTAC Group, a semiconductor services provider, completing his tenure in February 2024.
Mr. Chou now advises companies ranging from early-stage ventures to large technology firms on finance, governance, and strategic planning. The sectors of these companies ranges from AI to healthcare distributions.
Jonathan Chou earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an MBA in general management from Duke University. He has also been active in alumni and community programs through Duke University and has volunteered with nonprofit organizations. In his personal time, he enjoys golf, tennis, scuba diving, and community service activities.
